Data acquisition and processing programs are included with the purchase of any instrument (or associated modification) that provides a digital output signal; equivalent programs for instruments that provide analogue output signal are available separately. Program updates that introduce minor changes are provided without charge. New program versions that introduce major changes are subject to an upgrade charge.

Prior to download, please review the following notes, as may be applicable:

DL600 / DL720 data acquisition files: files that support DL600 and DL720 Data Acquisition Systems contain two separate sub-files: a format file and a program file. To ensure the proper loading of all programming associated with both files, the format file must be loaded onto the Polycorder prior to the program file.

Generally, downloaded files should only be used with the instrument / acquisition system configurations specified or implied by the file description: e.g. programs for the 600 series Polycorder are compatible only with instruments that produce a digital output signal; programs for the 700 series Polycorder are compatible only with instruments that produce an analogue output signal. A single exception: because the 700 series Polycorder is compatible with both analogue and digital signals, files for the 600 series Polycorder can be loaded onto and used on a 700 series unit, to acquire data from an instrument producing a digital output signal; in this case, the serial (smaller) connector on the 700 series unit must be used for communication with the instrument.

Allegro / PRO4000 data acquisition programs: files to support DAS70 Data Acquisition Systems contain two separate sub-files: a file to support the Allegro field computer and a file to support the PRO4000 field computer. Filenames that include “alg” or “A” are associated with the Allegro; filenames that include “pro” or “P” are associated with the PRO4000.

DOS-based data processing files: all DOS-based data processing files are provided “as is” and are not subject to any further development. User support for the operation of DOS-based programs, however, remains available.

Windows-based data processing files: all Windows-based data processing files require both a password and registered serial no. for installation – after download, please contact the Sales Department to receive the required registrations.
